The Come Out & Play Festival
Dedicated to the playing of street games, we are hosting a free Family Day on Governors Island. With a time travel theme to the day, everyone can play games from the past, present, and future for an afternoon of outdoor fun and competition. Think: a combination of dodgeball, capture the flag, and flag football; a real-life battleship war with cardboard vessels and water balloons; a tag-style game inspired by the different states of matter; and more. Recommended for families with kids between the ages of 6 and 11. 11am-4pm with multiple games throughout the day, FREE comeoutandplay.org
